As mentioned last month about wanting to focus on developing ideas from my mental sketchbook — drawing them up in CAD, building small models, and testing at full scale.

Much of this time has been spent gathering materials, using leftover panels I’ve held onto for years, and sourcing the right hardware. The process feels like a welcome return to setting up the workshop in 2019 / 2020, before bespoke commissions took over.

As a result, I’ve added a few new pieces to the selection of ACO. Objects designs available through the ACO. Shop — including a Stepping Up Stool, Floaty Shelves & a Collect Frame.

Designed to serve as a display shelf, bedside table, or step stool around the house. We choose to highlight the Douglas Fir’s bold grain with a soft pink hue using Osmo Country Shades in Duck’s Bill.

A focal point to elevate a thriving plant, display books or use to grab a tin of chopped tomatoes from the back of your kitchen cupboard. A small project for home now sitting in the corner of our bedroom.

I’ve shared my images from my Photo Journal in the past and wanted a way to display real prints at home without too much focus on formal framing. Spin them around for landscape or portrait and match or contrast the colours to elements in your photos.
