Welcome to the first newsletter of the year - A solid 3 weeks spent in the workshop and the past week on site at Mark’s new build home in Peckham. After completing the two Valchromat grey units downstairs in December, I then turned my attention to adding storage and a small office area in his upstairs spare room.

Built from Birch Plywood with a Terracotta Formica on the faces. The primary aim was to accommodate his soft-backed books, files, and musical instruments, while still leaving enough space for guests to use the sofa bed.

I will be bringing the second series of ‘A Collection Of Spaces’ to you in February after a short break over the new year. Keep an eye on the next edition of the newsletter & Instagram for that.

I revisited a job I completed in October last year to see how the additional shelving units were settling in. Lucy, David and Willow (at the bottom there) had recently moved into their home in Camberwell & brought along with them a large collection of art, photography & architecture books from their time in the US. It’s great to see the shelves fitting in alongside the artworks covering the walls of their home.
